The Institute and Gay Marriage
The Equality in Marriage Institute has not taken an official stance on the issue of gay marriage and the legal debates occurring at the state and national levels. As a non-profit organization that serves as a resource and support entity, we strive to provide services and programs that can support all Americans. While marriage and divorce are certainly primary areas of concern in our organization’s mission, we strive to impact all Americans with our messages aimed at helping people manage their relationships and their lives.
Whether a couple is married or not, we feel there are still key components to building strong partnerships that are universal. Not only are our communication and partnership planning tips applicable for every couple, but we also have content specific to issues relating to cohabitation outside of legal marriage. Our belief in strong partnerships focused on honesty and equality extends to any individual or couple seeking help at any stage in their relationship.
As a non-profit organization driven by a passion to help people live better, healthier lives, we hope our efforts are accessible and beneficial for anyone seeking to take advantage of them.
